The sixth season of "Mad Men," the most acclaimed series in AMC's self-produced series lineup, will premiere on April 7 at 9 p.m. ET. Produced and chief written by Matthew Weiner, the screenwriter of the Emmy Award-winning "The Sopranos", "Mad Men" has received 68 Emmy Award nominations and 15 Emmy awards since its premiere in 2007 Awards, including four consecutive Emmy Awards for Best Television Series, "Mad Men" became the first and only TV work to maintain this award record in the first decade of the new millennium.
