Walter H. White (Bryan Cranston), a high school chemistry teacher in New Mexico, is the only source of income for struggling families. For most of his life, he kept himself safe and conscientious, but on the occasion of his 50th birthday, he suddenly learned that he was suffering from advanced lung cancer. In order to ensure that his pregnant wife Skyler (Anna Gunn) and disabled son Walter Jr. can live well after his death, Walter decided to take the risk. He took the initiative to talk to Jesse Pinkerman (Aaron Paul), a former student and current drug dealer gangster, for cooperation, and he used chemical techniques to extract high-purity meth and gave it to the latter for sale. Unexpectedly, as pinkerman brought home the drug dealer crazy eight and his cousin, the situation took a turn for the worse, and walter's life spiraled out of control completely. He was forced to start a double life of teaching and making drugs, and gradually fell into the abyss of eternal destruction.
