At the end of the 17th century, in the remote town of Salem, Massachusetts, Kongwu man John Oden (Shane West Shane West) said goodbye to his beloved woman Mary (Janet Montgomery) and rushed to the battlefield. Soon after, Mary, who was pregnant, made a terrible pact with a mysterious force from another world in order to prevent her from being persecuted by the mayor George Sibley (Michael Mulheren). Seven years later, the weather-beaten John returned to Salem, only to find that it had become a bloody and gloomy hell on earth. A pious Puritan priest, Cotton Matthews (Seth Gabel), firmly believes that the town has been corrupted by wizards, so he kills every suspect he identifies. On the other hand, Mary married Sibley by accident. Under her delicate and gorgeous appearance, there was an ulterior conspiracy hidden.
